Is Napa Valley in your future? We hope you’ll add Nickel & Nickel to your itinerary. Here’s what you need to know about your visit:
With all the wonderful weather we’ve been enjoying, the high season seems to have already begun this year. We highly recommend early planning for all your Napa Valley destinations, from lodging to winery visits and dining.
Like many wineries, Nickel & Nickel is by appointment only, and we recommend booking your appointment as soon as your plans solidify. As the season gets underway, we often schedule visits 6 weeks out and holiday weekends fill quickly.
Schedule Your Visit
So you’ve got some dates in mind? Check out our visit page for information on tours and tastings at Nickel & Nickel. From there, you can book your appointment online at the “Make a Reservation” link, or give us a call at (707) 967-9600 and we’ll set you up!
(Special note: Wine club members’ tasting fees are waived, up to a party of four.)
Get Ready to Enjoy a Single-Vineyard Experience!
On your Nickel & Nickel visit, you’ll learn about our dedication to single-vineyard wines and how that touches everything we do, from our hospitality in the Sullenger House to the enology lab in the 18th-century Gleason Barn to the fermentation barns. Next, you’ll taste through a selection of our Napa Valley single-vineyard Cabernets—a true tour of Napa Valley geography and geology!
We look forward to greeting you soon at the winery. Another way to connect with us is through Facebook, Twitter or Instagram.

Maybe you’ve driven by Nickel & Nickel on Highway 29 and have never visited. Or maybe you make sure you do stop in for a tour and tasting each time you’re in the Napa Valley. Either way, we hope we will see you this summer!
Here are some tips for making the most of your visit:
Hotel, spa and dining reservations can fill up quickly during the late spring and summer months, and the same is true for tour and tasting appointments at Nickel & Nickel. As soon as you know you’re heading our way, please give us a call at (707) 967-9600 or make your reservation online. Weekends and holidays, and even weekdays, can book as much as 6 weeks out—and sometimes more.
The Wine Club Advantage
Our wine club members enjoy many benefits, including wine shipments, invitations to winery events and savings on wine purchases. They also receive complimentary tours and tastings, up to a party of four and with advance reservation, at both Far Niente and Nickel & Nickel properties. Take a look at our wine club offerings and see if any fit your tastes!
Get Ready to Taste!
Visits to the winery include a tour through the property and winemaking facilities followed by a seated tasting. If you love Napa Valley Cabernets, this tasting is special treat as you will taste four Single-Vineyard Cabernets from highly regarded Napa Valley AVAs. Each of the single-vineyard, 100 percent varietal Cabernets will be from the same vintage, allowing you to taste the unique qualities presented by each vineyard site.
Wines offered at the tasting change often, but right now we are pouring:
2011 Nickel & Nickel Hayne Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon, St. Helena, Napa Valley
2011 Nickel & Nickel C.C. Ranch Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon, Rutherford, Napa Valley
2011 Nickel & Nickel Sori Bricco Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon, Diamond Mountain District, Napa Valley

Just a few miles south of us on Highway 29 is the small town of Yountville. Filled with world class restaurants, casual eateries and cafes, boutique hotels and bed-and-breakfasts, the place makes us locals wish we were on vacation. We have the pleasure of working with several incredible Yountville restaurants, and our State Ranch Cabernet Sauvignon is grown right outside town.
If you are in Napa Valley this weekend be sure to get to Taste of Yountville—an annual event that draws hundreds to this food, wine and art-centered celebration. The event begins this afternoon with an art show reception and the main event is on Saturday. To learn more, visit the Taste of Yountville website.
